The North Carolina State Energy Plan, originally published in 2003 and revised in 2005, represents the collaborative efforts of the North Carolina Energy Policy Council, the North Carolina State Energy Office and its consultants, key stakeholders from around the state, and the public at large. The State Energy Plan offers recommendations to boost North Carolina's economy, improve the environment and increase the sustainability of the state's energy supply.
